Drew Dasent was born in Sheffield, UK. He worked as an art director for a British sportswear company before relocating to New York City in 2000. Stateside he began working as a wardrobe stylist and has extensive experience in both commercials and music videos. He has styled for Marc Anthony, Aaliyah, DMX, Rage Against The Machine, Bruce Springstein, and Nine Inch Nails among many others. In 2002 Drew’s career interests evolved and he joined Daniel Peddle in starting The Secret Gallery, a full-service casting agency.
Drew still styles wardrobes and designs costumes for special projects including Daniel Peddle’s feature films.

Jane S. Murray hails from a lifelong journey in agriculture, music and hospitality. Radio DJ, studio engineer and finally concert promoter married her love for music with hospitality. Jane complemented her vineyard work with operations management on East Coast wine tasting rooms where she catered many events and eventually landed in Carolina Beach. Moss was her first time working on a feature film. The crew called her the “Food Angel” but she did much more than providing the basics. She acted as Line Producer, organized logistics and in general ran around like a mad woman for all things Moss.
Jacob Ingle is a 20 year old entrepreneur currently residing in Wilmington, North Carolina. Originally from the small town of Winston-Salem, Jacob entered the film world starring in his uncle Daniel Peddle’s first narrative film
Thomas Lakey a.k.a. Captain Shaw resides in the Wilmington area near Carolina Beach. He has been a drift wood sculptor and a charter captain for 16 years and counting. He moved to Wilmington when he was 17 years old and received a marine technology degree from Cape Fear Community College. Shaw’s sensitive driftwood sculptures integrate natural forms with imaginative metal work to create fantastic creatures from the deep and beyond. Highly sought after and easily recognized, Shaw’s creations are on display at many regional establishments and in private collections around the world.
Justin Fox was the production sound mixer for our film “Moss”. Hailing from Knoxville, TN and currently residing in Los Angeles, CA he also has a background in photography.

Moss is cinematographer Juri Beythien’s first feature film following years of short films, commercial and music video work. Juri lives and works in Copenhagen and the Moss shoot was his first trip to the States. Besides his self-described “German precision”, he was incredibly adept at guerilla filmmaking techniques like “run and gun.” Plus he flew a mean drone! Currently, Juri is in preproduction for Daniel Peddle’s next feature film shooting in NYC later in 2017.
Zimo is a film editor based in West Hollywood, California, and he’s been editing since the mid 2000s. Before going into the narrative feature world, he edited documentary films.
John has held a wide range of positions in the entertainment industry over the last 20 years, including head of Disney Television Animation’s Shorts Lab, Vice President of Creative Development of Theme Park Productions – the media unit of Walt Disney Imagineering, and Senior Vice President of Development and Production at Witt-Thomas Films. He started his film career at Francis Coppola’s Zoetrope Studios as story editor, then moved to MGM to work as Director of Development for Freddie Fields, and later as Director of Development for Scott Rudin. John served as consulting producer for the indie film titled VARA: A BLESSING, directed by Khyentse Norbu (THE CUP) and he is currently the producer of MOSS, directed by Daniel Peddle.
